Our Next Performances

Who: All performing classes at Ferndale Dance
What: Dance Recital   
When: December 8th & 9th 2023 at 6:30pm. Doors open at 5:30pm
Where: Blaine Middle School PAC 975 H St, Blaine, WA 98230
Price: $12 early bird online $15 at the door.  (Kids on laps are free) Ticket sales begin May 1st.

Details for Dance Families:

• Dancers arrive 20-30 minutes before the show starts with costumes on and hair and make up ready. 
• All dancers will be back stage in the cafeteria during the whole performance with supervisors.
• During intermission, dancers that have already perform in the first half are welcome to stay back stage until the end of the show or with parents. If parents wish to head home, they can pick up their children in the cafeteria before the second half starts.
• Dancers will be allowed to sit with parents during the half of the show they do not perform in. No tickets needed this time!
• Please note that we will not be allowing dancers to go in and out of auditorium without their parent.
• We ask for no flash photography or video during the performances but you are welcome to take them during the dress rehearsal. 
• DVDs will be available to order at the performances. $15 for 1 show, $25 for both shows.
• Please send second costume, tights, shoes and hair pieces clearly labeled in a bag with dancer when you arrive.
• After your dancer has performed their first dance, there will be teachers and helpers available to help your dancer find their second costume and change if help is needed.
• There will be a group bow at the end of the show for all dancers that have not gone home. After the bow parents will come to the front of the stage to pick up their children.
• Dancers sitting in the audience during the second half will need to exit QUIETLY during clapping two dances before finale to be able to bow with everyone. Please help your dancer to exit respectfully.

Looking for a some free tickets? Volunteer to help at the shows!

• We are looking for several moms to stay back stage during the whole performance supervising dancers. Help needed from 5:30pm-until the show ends, around 8:45pm. Moms can sneak on the side of the stage to watch when it is time for their child to perform.
• Let us know if you’d like to volunteer. Backstage moms will receive 4 tickets each.
